W Sandrze najważniejsze dla nas powinny być wyniki losowego odczytu bądź zapisu danych. Dysk X25-M G2 Intela jest czwarty w klasyfikacji ogólnej odczytu losowego. Natomiast w zapisie ustępuje innym konstrukcjom ze względu na wspomniane wcześniej ograniczenie do 80 MB/s. Tutaj nawet najszybsze dyski twarde zaczynają deptać po piętach konstrukcji Intela. Na szczycie klasyfikacji oczywiście nadal Intel, tylko ukryty pod oznaczeniem Kingstona. Nie dajcie się oszukać, to X25-E oparty na SLC. Bardzo dobrze w losowym zapisie radzi sobie także Acard ANS. W przypadku tego urządzenia nie ma specjalnego znaczenia czy testujemy liniowo, czy losowo. Radzi sobie równie dobrze, bo w końcu opiera się na pamięci RAM.
